Come join our dynamic team of ethical volunteers for the hands-on experience
of a lifetime!
The vision of the Western Cape provincial government is to build “A Home for All” and their path towards this vision is “Ikapa Elihlymayo” – to grow and share the Western Cape.
Volunteering Hands was founded on the above-mentioned vision, to encourage upliftment through the promotion of self-sufficiency.
There are numerous projects based throughout the Western Cape, some well-known, others starting up, some focusing on children of different ages, others on the communities and some on the environment. The basic needs in all projects remain the same – volunteering hands that ease the workload, assisting in training and teaching the local workforce.
If you are passionate about making a difference, if you love working, caring and helping, if your goal is to impact society in a positive way – and above all, if have a sense of humour – we would love to welcome you to our dynamic team.
You will gain skills, develop existing talents and improve your life and career prospects through many exciting and rewarding adventures. You will learn to accept challenges and question assumptions. Your eyes will be opened to the inequalities of the world. You will develop compassion for people of all walks of life and a passion to speak out for the unheard. And finally, you will be rewarded with wholehearted gratitude for the legacy of healing you leave behind.
Celebrate the act of kindness
